NEETA Ltd Named One of Top Providers by Government
[tc]T[/tc]yne and Wear based NEETA Ltd was today named as one of the top training providers in the country by the Adult Learning Inspectorate, the government body responsible for the quality of education and training for adults and young people. At the launch of his annual report for 2005-06 Chief Inspector, David Sherlock, named NEETA Ltd as being one of only 151 organisations to receive "good" or "outstanding" inspection grades for every aspect of its training.

David Sherlock said "I am delighted to be able to name NEETA ltd as one of this year’s outstanding providers. They have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to achieving the very highest standards in the quality of Hair and Beauty training they offer. Apprentices can be confident that they will receive first-class support to reach their full potential. To be one of the top providers in the country is a tremendous achievement and a great credit to the team at NEETA Ltd."

Established in 1988, NEETA Ltd has been a foremost provider of Hairdressing in Tyne and Wear delivering NVQ ‘s at level 1, 2 and 3 through Entry and Apprenticeship programmes. The company also delivers training for Entry 2 Employment (E2E), a government flagship programme which provides learning to achieve the skills necessary to progress into employment. 55 young people are currently receiving support for a range of skills both academic and behavioural through a wide range of learning opportunities such as Environmental Conservation.

During Adult Learning Inspection, young people told Inspectors that "tutors set parameters, but treat you like adults" and that the programme was “a good mix of practical and theory" and they gained "a better understanding of the science of hairdressing"
